Jason graduated from Caltech with a PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2026, where he developed AI methods for enzyme engineering with Prof Frances Arnold and Prof Yisong Yue. At MIT, he is a postdoctoral researcher working with Prof Heather Kulik and Prof Tommi Jaakkola, aiming to bridge computational chemistry methods with data-driven enzyme design. Jason is also an incoming professor at Johns Hopkins University, where he will lead his own future research group.
